The next uncompleted Base Game aspiration in the menu is Renaissance Sim. Greta Laurent could work on it, but I’m getting a little tired of that family so I will be going back to the Goth Household at Ophelia Villa in Willow Creek.
To get further in his Renaissance Sim aspiration, Mortimer Goth will need to first reach the top of the Writer career, so he can switch jobs.
Cassandra enrolled in Fine Arts at Britechester University
I had Alexander graduate early so he could get a head start on University. After a few days he enrolled in the Physics program at Foxbury Institute.
Alexander was busy with school, so Bella helped him out by finishing the Rocket he started building.
I bought Mortimer the Entrepreneurial reward trait to speed up his career advancement. Really should have done this sooner.
Bella threw a Gold-level House Party.
I bought Alexander the Savant reward trait.
Bella aged up to Adult.
Bella threw Party after Party.
Mortimer mastered the Charisma skill, at the same time earning the Perfectionist trait.
Bella and Mortimer went on a few dates.
Cassandra gave so many costume compliments she became Good.
Bella threw lots of Gold-level Incognito Costume Parties, to sell off the rewards. Everyone mastered the Charisma skill.
With some of the proceeds from the party life, the Goths built themselves a basement for Skillination.
Alexander aged up to Young Adult — with a Cake for once! He kept the Nerd Brain aspiration and took the Outgoing trait.
Alexander mastered the Logic Skill. No achievement this time.
Alexander completed the Nerd Brain aspiration. He takes The Curator next, since I plan to make him a Scientist.
Cassandra Goth mastered the Photography Skill through a University class, earning the “Picture Perfect” achievement for 50 points.
Bella Goth joined the Villain branch of the Secret Agent career.
Mortimer mastered the Writing Skill.
Mortimer aged up to Elder. Managed to get him a cake, too.
Alexander mastered the Handiness Skill.
Alexander mastered the Rocket Science Skill, earning the “It’s Not Brain Surgery” achievement for 50 points.
Cassandra mastered the Violin Skill, earning the Bow-Dacious achievement for 50 points.
Mortimer Goth reached the top of the Journalist career, earning the “The Pen is Mightier” achievement for 50 points. He can now (finally) change jobs, taking the Barista Job first.
Cassandra graduated from University and got a job as a Master of the Real (because I messed up) Level 8, completing the Academic aspiration. Now she will have to complete it before moving on. My previous save was in a weird state, so no help there. Shoot. At least it’s lucrative to Paint. She takes Spellcraft & Sorcery next.
Cassandra became Self Assured at the Graduation Ceremony.
Now eligible to move, she went home to grab her stuff, and moved out to her own lot at Glimmerbrook Watch with $20,000 Simoleons.
Alexander mastered the Bowling Skill via a University elective.
Mortimer mastered the Cooking Skill.
Bella mastered the Logic Skill, becoming a Perfectionist at the same time.
Alexander graduated from University. He then entered the Scientist Career at Level 8.
Alexander needed to get 18 Breakthroughs for a promotion, so I had him fish and fish… so much he became Adventurous.
Bella’s 15th Social Event attended was a date with Mortimer.
Bella completed the Party Animal aspiration. She takes Jungle Explorer next.
Mortimer loved his new carefree life as a Barista so much, he became Cheerful. Maybe it was the caffeine?
Over the weekend, Alexander mastered the Fishing Skill, earning the “Cast Away” achievement and becoming a Perfectionist at the same time.
Alexander moved into Cassandra’s old room, but updated the colors.
Mortimer reached the top of the Barista Job, making him eligible to switch careers. He takes Fast Food Employee next.
Mortimer mastered the Dancing Skill… in his underwear.
Alexander mastered the Dancing Skill.
Alexander completed the Microscope Prints collection.
Mortimer mastered the Research & Debate Skill. No achievement this time.
Bella reached the top of the Villain career, but the Secret Agent achievement was already earned by Darling Walsh, so no achievement.
Mortimer was at the end of his life, so I was desperate for that last promotion. I made a $5000 offering and wished for a promotion. He was told that his next shift would end with a promotion. 3 days away!
Unfortunately, he died that night. Bella was unable to route to the Grim Reaper, so she couldn’t plead for Mortimer’s life.
I invited Mortimer to join the household as a ghost, before Grim had even left. Unfortunately, he came back with no career! I put him back on Fast Food Employee. Shucks, his first shift was 4 days away.
I plan to take the family to Selvadorada, so I had them keep working on Wellness in between other things, so that they can teleport.
Alexander completed the Curator aspiration, earning the “Over-Achiever” achievement for 100 points. He starts on Angling Ace next. I bought Alexander a bunch of Reward Traits: Savant, Frugal, Morning Sim and Night Owl.
Apparently “Til Death Do Us Part” means marriages are broken up at death. I had Bella and Mortimer tie the knot again.
Alexander reached the top of the Scientist career, earning the “Down to a Science” achievement for 50 points.
Mortimer mastered the Logic Skill.
Bella worked on her Midlife Crisis, and eventually cleared it.
Alexander, who had taken Bowling as an elective in University, bowled a perfect game in his sub-basement, earning the “Perfect Llama” achievement for 100 points.
Bella spent enough time in the Telescope to become a Genius.
Alexander aged up to Adult.
Mortimer reached the top of the Fast Food Worker Job, completing the Renaissance Sim aspiration. He takes Archaeology Scholar next.
